“Priyanka trained in Kolkata and came back in 2021 to do the thing Bhagalpur did not have: fresh flower décor priced by weight, so a family can see what they are buying. Every quote here carries kilos and running feet. Marigold at ₹110 a kilo, tuberose at ₹380, imported rose at ₹22 a stem — and when the mandi rate moves in November we re-quote rather than quietly swap in artificial and hope the photograph carries it. What we do not do is structure. We do not own a shamiana, we do not carry four hundred chairs and we will not pretend otherwise; on a full wedding we work alongside a tent house, usually Mangalam, and the two invoices are separate. Haldi courtyards, mehendi canopies, jaimala stages, and the car. Two setups a day is our limit and both have to be in the city. Site visit any day but Sunday, 11 to 6, and we come to the hall rather than asking you to come to us.”
