Your night
Loudspeakers stop at 22:00 in the open air. Your sangeet is on the lawn, so that rule is yours.
20:40–23:30
you want
20:40–22:00
the lawn allows
90
minutes short
of the floor you asked for
22:00 → 23:00
Two of the crew stay out with the dholak. Nothing is amplified, so the rule does not reach it. Your mother and the aunts never move.
The young people go inside to dance, the elders stay on the lawn with your mother and the dholak. The 22:00 line splits your party by generation — and a Bihari wedding does that an hour later anyway.
Your venue has no enclosed hall to carry on in.
Would have given back 75 minutes.
Bihar may permit 22:00–midnight on fifteen nights a year, published in advance. 20 November was not on the 2025 list.
Would have given back 90 minutes.
It also moves your makeup morning by 40 minutes — and your hall does not open the bridal room until 13:00. That is not a price, it is an impossibility.
Would have given back 40 minutes.
